If you have installed Civil Site Design for BricsCAD V26, or Stringer Topo for BricsCAD V26, and you are experiencing error messages trying to run any command, there may be an issue with the platform version of BricsCAD that you have installed.

The initial BricsCAD V26 release (V26.1.05) did not support the operation of Civil Site Design or Stringer Topo and required updating from the BricsCAD development team.  This issue specifically impacts BricsCAD V26 users.

Error Message and Checking Version

Error message will likely show as a message box identifying a Fatal Error in operation and with details of various reference errors.

You can check the current version of BricsCAD V26 by typing ABOUT at the command line.

If the Version does not report a V26.1.07 (x64) or later then Civil Site Design and Stringer Topo will be unable to operate.

Fix

Civil Site Design and Stringer Topo will work on the latest version of BricsCAD V26 (V26.1.07 or later).

If the version is not V26.1.07 (or later) please do the following

  1. Close BricsCAD
  2. Download the latest update from the BricsCAD downloads page (https://www.bricsys.com/en-au/bricscad-download) and install.
  3. Restart BricsCAD and confirm full software operation.

If you are experiencing operation issues with the software on BricsCAD V26.1.07 or later, please lodge a support ticket (https://support.civilsurveyapplications.com.au/en) for assistance.
